Panel Lead - United States (Remote)

We specialize in providing detailed, actionable, and easy to understand insights for every stage of the product lifecycle--from development to in market to new generations. Pulse Labs offers naturalistic consumer usability and quality assurance services built on our proprietary product evaluation platform. Our clients are leading global technology companies; they use Pulse to create and refine cutting edge products in multiple domains including mobile, smarthome, wearables, and automotive.

As part of the services Pulse Labs offers we provide user testing for customers, and these users are recruited from our proprietary panel. Consequently, we’re constantly developing and expanding this large, demographically representative panel, and we’re looking for a panel manager to lead its growth, maintenance, and monetization. Managing this panel involves marketing and recruitment of new panelists, onboarding and QA of potential panelists, and engagement and maintenance of existing panelists. Pulse Labs is also looking to build out additional monetization opportunities for our panel outside our primary user testing use case.

In this role, you would work cross-functionally with operations, research, product, and business development teams to ensure we have the panelists we need, and to identify and implement opportunities for improving panelist experience and value. This job requires marketing ingenuity to drive panel growth, particularly among difficult to recruit demographics, product focus to improve the panelist experience, and business savvy to implement new revenue opportunities. It’s a role in which you’ll be responsible for both operational delivery and strategic vision.

key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor panelist recruiting to make sure the research teams have the panelists they need when they need them.
  • Lead recruiting efforts to expand the Pulse Labs panel among important demographics, both in the United States and abroad.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, design, and operations to improve the panelist experience both on and off the Pulse Labs platform.
  • Investigate and implement additional revenue opportunities available for Pulse Labs panelists, and how these opportunities can improve panelist engagement and monetization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience recruiting and delivering activity participants within a set timeframe.
  • Experience managing a community who are engaged with a company but not employed by that company.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in product management.
  • Experience in testing and/or product feedback.
  • Experience managing teams.
